  • 1 package firm tofu (14-16oz.), drained and dried of excess water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
  • Whole-grain crackers or veggies for dipping

Directions

  1. Remove tofu from package and drain water. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove any extra moisture.
  2. Add tofu to a medium-size mixing bowl. Mash it with a fork to get a crumbly, spreadable texture.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh herbs if you have them.
